Tneds press that automatically punches out blocks of floor
tile from sheets of vinyl and asphalt or asbestos material:
Starts machine and observes sheet for uniformity of color
pattern.
Pushes button to release punching ram, allowing
defective sections of sheet to pass through and onto scrap
conveyor. Feels material to determine its flexibility as it
enters machine and notifies Calender Operator (fabrication, nec)
to adjust temperature of rolls. Stops machine when jams occur
and removes damaged floor tile to celar punch press.
